Volunteer opportunities vary based on the needs of the agency and the skills of the volunteer. Below you will find a sampling of our most popular volunteer opportunities: Public Affairs volunteers advocate for reproductive rights by visiting elected officials, researching ongoing bills, participating in projects, and helping with our database. Marketing and events planning allows an avenue for volunteers to assist with special events, production of brochures, and marketing outreach. *PPOSBC will be accepting intern applications May 2010* Public Affairs Internship You’ll assist a highly driven, politically minded staff, participate in statewide conferences, and meet with elected officials. You’ll take a leadership roll spearheading political projects, organizing campus and community activities, and representing Planned Parenthood in the public arena. The ideal candidates will be passionate, organized, proficient in Microsoft Office, and able to relate to diverse communities. Event preparation, project management, and administrative experience preferred, but not required.
