HEALTH SERVICES
What to expect at your appointment
Although every appointment is different, there is a common process that
you can expect when you visit Planned Parenthood.
Wait time
If you have an appointment, the usual wait time is between one and two
hours. Wait time for walk-ins is usually between two and three hours.
Waiting room policies
For the safety of our patients and staff, we have a few general rules about our waiting areas:
- Only patients are allowed to wait in waiting rooms. If someone has driven you to your appointment, he/she can provide us with contact information and we will call them half an hour before you are done with your appointment.
- Small children are only allowed in a carrier seat or stroller. Unless they are over the age of 12 or in the care of another adult, children are not permitted to stay in the waiting room while you are in your appointment.
- No food or drinks are permitted in the waiting room.
- All cell phones must be turned off while you are in the medical center.
Check-in
You'll be asked to fill out paperwork when you come in for your
appointment. This paperwork usually takes 15 - 20 minutes to complete. For your convenience, you can print and fill out some of the forms before your appointment. Click here for the forms. You should also have your insurance card (if applicable) and photo identification
ready when you check in.
Note: Repeat patients may not have to fill out
all of the forms.
Payment
Payment will be collected from you on your way out of the Medical Center.
We accept cash, all major credit cards, and in-state personal checks.
Donations
Because Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties is a
not-for-profit agency, we will ask you for a donation each time you visit.
Your donation ensures that low cost, high quality health care will be
around for years and generations to come. For more on what your donations
pay for or to make a donation now, please click
